I believe every each of us have go through that unbearable
and painful phase where we have to deal with our skin’s problem especially back
when we were a teenager. I have been battling with this problem since my school
days up until now. Yeap, the hurtful truth. In the early year of my teen phase,
my skin wasn’t really that bad. But passing through the year I started to have
several breakouts and I noticed my acne have becoming worse and my skin was too
oily that you could see your reflection while talking to me (haha!). And ever
since then, I have tried so many products in the market including clinically
medicine and ointments. But nothing really works for me of course (that’s why I
still have it) and after so much investments my mom has spent on me, she started
to run out of idea on how to help my skin’s problem. But eventually while growing
up, I learnt that I have actually found the solutions for my skin but I did not
really pay a close attention to it. Though the acne and oils on my face are not completely vanished, but they're still controllable and tamed. So in this post I’m going to share on how I
deal with my skin’s problems.
Drink A Lot of Water
– Drink, drink, drink! Yeah it’s important for you to drink a lot of water even
when you’re having no skin problem at all. Plain water acts as detox to flush
out all the harmful toxins in your body through your urine. Do bear in mind
that toxins is one of the many reasons that caused acne. Drinking water also
can make your body stay hydrated which also means your oil glands does not
secrete excessive oil since your skin is not drying out from the hot weather.
Do Not Over wash Your
Face – I know the eagerness to
wash your face especially for those with oily skin is unbearable. But try not
to over wash your skin as it will simulates the oil glands to secrete more oil
as if they’ve been misunderstood your skin as too dry. Wash your face only two
times a day is good enough to control your skin problem.
Find A Suitable Skin
Products – Know your skin well. That’s all I have to say. When you know
your skin well and how it reacts to the products you’ve been using, you can
actually predict the result if you willing to switch to a new products. Some may
give good results to the other but not you. If you’re having a very sensitive
skin, try to avoid any products contained a strong chemicals which could
actually make your skin worsen. In Malaysia there are an uprising of beauty
products production and this could be a good sign to the consumer or vice
versa.
